Cillian

         It was a long road for Sara and I to get to Cillian.  With fertility issues and a difficult labor, the day finally arrived.  Now we have a new addition to our family and we are so excited to start this next chapter.

           We are extremely blessed to have so many friends and family members willing to help us out as we adjust to our new routine.  Although I think Nina is having the hardest time adjusting.  I think her maternal instincts are kicking in and wanting to constantly patrol and check to see if the baby is okay.  She likes to lick his little feet when they’re exposed.  So far sleeping has been okay with the shifts we’re taking.  

           Cillian Nicholas Teddy Bauer was born on May 9th @ 9:47 pm. He weighed 8 lbs 8 oz, and was 21 1/2 in. long.  He is an escape artist, expertly freeing himself from a tight swaddle.  He’s got a powerful set of lungs and big feet.  He loves cuddles, sleeping, and eating.
