Feeling more, thinking less
I tend to really overanalyze what I'm doing at times, and sometimes I have the intellectual knowledge and have troubles applying it; so lately I've been really focused on just feeling what I'm feeling. The main thing I have been working on lately is making sure my techniques are completed, before moving on, while also keeping the flow going. I have for sure been on both ends of the spectrum with this, finishing but pausing too long, and blurring movements together. I've been picking up on little insights here and there, but it is still being pieced together.
What really has been helping me, is just doing. Less thinking. Less analyzing. More doing, and more feeling. I'm trying more to feel and take note of things, without disrupting my form. In the past I would stop after something felt off and go through it a few times before moving on. Now I recognize what is feeling good and what is feeling bad, and still moving forward, tweaking as I go. It's a work in progress for sure.
With this increased sensitivity, I've been noticing more in forms I've been done for a while, like DMH 1. There is so much in that one section, it's a bit overwhelming. Things are feeling better overall, and I cn already see the improvements throughout my forms.
